Will my 60g PS3 fixed to the performance of current gen PS3's when I send it to Sony to get it fixed from YLOD?

Just wondering, because the average life span of 60g PS3's are 2 years, and after I get mine fixed/refurbished by Sony, will it be guaranteed that it will last longer that 2 years and the measly 90 days warranty in chances that they will enhance it with the un-overheating specs of the newer models?
