Do you know any films such as this?

I just watched a film called "Black Narcissus" on the TCM channel. I enjoyed the movie, but found that it sort of hinted at uality & pion. I thought at first I was mistaken since this is a film about nuns. Then I researched & the director said he was aiming for it to be an film with pion just below the service. I immediately thought, "Strange, but brilliant." films don't have to have in every scene to grab the audience's attention. I find the suggesting of it a lot more intriguing. Do you know of any other films like this? If so, what were your favorites & why?
