Why Do Women Degrade Themselves With Beauty Pagaents?

I dont think its degrading not if they enjoy it now if they are being made to do it then its not right. Just someone women enjoy getting dressed up and having people say they are beautiful. Its just like there hobby in a sort of way. You wouldnt say its degrading for a woman to have kids if she wants them just because thats what woman do.
