My doctor doesn't have delivery privileges at the hospital we want to deliver at. What can I do?

I am 34 weeks along. Our OB said when we first met him that he was working on getting delivery privileges at the hospital we wanted to deliver at, so we stayed with him as our doc. We only recently found out that he wont be able to deliver there. The only 2 hospitals he delivers at are these two hospitals that seem old and dingy with VERY tiny rooms. Should we just go to the hospital we want? And how can we make this happen with our doc not being allowed there?
