BOY TROUBLE and I need some help pretty please!?

If you like him, talk to him before another person in the school gets to him first. If he is glancing over at you chances are he may like you too but may be nervous because you are an 8th grader. I say get over your nerves and ask him. Don't send your friends in, there is no telling what they will ask or say.
